Warranty Policy

We place great importance on customer satisfaction and are committed to providing high-quality products and excellent after-sales service. The following is EcoBoss's product warranty policy, designed to offer you comprehensive protection. This policy applies exclusively to products purchased directly through our official website.

1. Warranty Coverage

EcoBoss provides a limited warranty that covers defects in workmanship and materials under normal application, including defects or failures attributable to manufacturing or raw material issues. The specific product categories and corresponding warranty periods are as follows:

  • Complete Solar Systems: 5-year limited warranty
  • Solar Panels: 10-year limited warranty
  • Inverters, Controllers, Chargers, and Other Electronics: 2-year limited warranty
  • Batteries: 3-year limited warranty

This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser. If the product is gifted or resold, warranty service must be applied through the original purchaser. Original order information is required to file a warranty claim.

Products serviced or replaced during the warranty period will NOT receive an extended warranty. The serviced or replaced items remain governed by the original warranty term from the date of initial purchase.

No employee, agent, dealer or other representative is authorized to grant additional warranties on behalf of EcoBoss beyond what is expressly stated in this limited warranty.

2. Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does NOT cover failures or damages resulting from any of the following circumstances:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improper installation, operation, storage, insufficient ventilation or inadequate maintenance
  • Incorrect handling and transportation
  • Unauthorized repair, disassembly, modification, conversion or addition of components
  • Intentional or accidental misuse, abuse, or neglect
  • Contamination by hazardous substances, radiation or water (unless explicitly marked waterproof by EcoBoss)
  • Abnormal electrical stress including power surges, uncontrolled voltage/current, over/under power supply, system harmonics and lightning strikes
  • Exposure to extreme high or low temperatures
  • Force majeure events including fires, floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, severe weather, wars and acts of terrorism

Battery Special Disclaimer:
Without EcoBoss’s involvement in system design and explicit written authorization, our batteries are NOT intended for use as primary or backup power for life-support systems, medical equipment, or any application where battery failure may cause personal injury, loss of life or catastrophic property damage. Such usage is entirely at the purchaser’s own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, EcoBoss disclaims all liability arising from such use. EcoBoss also reserves the right to refuse service for batteries deployed in these applications and shall not be liable for any consequences resulting from such service refusal.

If EcoBoss determines the reported issue is not a manufacturing or material defect and is ineligible for warranty repair, the purchaser shall bear all associated costs for inspection, repair, replacement and shipping.

3. Warranty Service

During the warranty period, if you encounter any product issues, please follow the steps below to apply for warranty service:

  • Contact the EcoBoss customer service team and provide proof of purchase, original order information and the product serial number.
  • Describe the defect or performance failure in detail and submit relevant images or videos as supporting evidence.
  • Our technical team will provide testing guidance and instructions. You may be requested to ship the product back for inspection if necessary.
  • We will evaluate your warranty request. Once confirmed eligible, EcoBoss’s sole and exclusive remedy is product or component replacement; in certain cases, a refund of the product purchase cost may be issued. Labor costs are NOT covered under this warranty.

All warranty claims must be submitted in writing within the valid warranty period, accompanied by a copy of the invoice and a description of the defect or performance loss. No product returns will be accepted without prior written approval from EcoBoss.

4. Limitation of Liability

The total liability of EcoBoss, its suppliers and affiliates for any warranty breach is limited to repair, replacement of the product/components, or refund of the product cost as outlined above. EcoBoss shall NOT be responsible for installation/removal expenses, electrical system testing fees, downtime loss, or any other indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

5. Changes to the Warranty Policy

EcoBoss reserves the right to modify or update the warranty policy at any time. Changes will not affect the existing warranty terms for products already purchased.
