Frequently Asked Questions
Can I walk on the flexible solar panel?
No. It cannot bear heavy pressure. Walking on it will damage the solar cells.
How do I install a 100W flexible solar panel?
Install via silicone adhesive, Velcro or grommets. No bulky aluminum brackets needed. Use a clean and dry surface.
Is the flexible panel waterproof?
Yes. It reaches IP67 waterproof rating for outdoor & marine use. Do not submerge it in water for a long time.
What charge controller should I use?
An MPPT controller is recommended for higher efficiency. Choose 10A or higher for one 100W panel.
What is the expected lifespan?
Normally 5–10 years. Avoid sharp bending and impacts to extend service life.
Does shading affect performance?
Yes. Shading greatly lowers power output. Install it in full sunlight.
Can I charge a 12V battery directly?
No. A charge controller is required to stabilize voltage and prevent overcharging.
